Burke accepts recycling at 212 School Street on Wednesday, Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. NEK Rubbish is also available to take your trash the same hours as recycling for a charge.

As of June 3, 2023, Curbside Recycling and Rubbish Pickup will no longer be provided by Burke. Instead, residents can hire a private trash vendor to pick up at your home. There will also be someone on site at the recycling building to take your trash for a fee.
