Roadside Mowing Bids
The Town of Burke is accepting bids from contractors to perform Roadside Mowing on approx. 51 miles of roadway. The work will consist of 2 passes on all Class ll and III Town Highways. Cutting of overhanging tree limbs as necessary should be included. Should be completed between August 1st and September 15th 2025
The contractor is responsible for proper signage. Bids are due Monday June 2nd, 2025, by 4:00 PM at the Burke Town Clerk's Office, 212 School Street, West Burke, VT 05871. Bids should be in a sealed envelope and labeled Roadside Mowing Bid. Bids will be opened at the Selectboard Meeting Monday, June 2, 2025 at 6 PM. The Selectboard reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Hazardous Waste Collection Day
Bulky day May 17, 2025 from 8:00am to 12:00 pm at 51 Town Garage Road.
Must have a ticket. Tickets are $35 at the Town Clerks Office.
